Murphy & King, P.C. announced today that Shareholder Andrew G. Lizotte and Shareholder Kathleen R. Cruickshank will participate in the Boston Bar Association’s (BBA) 31st Annual Bankruptcy Bench Meets Bar Conference on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, from 3:00 to 6:15pm. This conference will be held virtually.
Mr. Lizotte will speak on the panel, Issues Regarding Third Party Releases and Injunctions in Chapter 11 Plans and in Settlements alongside Hon. Christopher J. Panos, Chief Justice of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and John Loughnane, Partner at Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP.
Mr. Lizotte has extensive experience representing different factions in bankruptcy proceedings, including operating Chapter 11 businesses, committees of unsecured creditors, lenders, both liquidating and operating trustees, examiners, and individuals.
Ms. Cruickshank is part of the Conference Advisory Committee that planned and organized the Conference. She is Section Co-chair of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Boston Bar Association (BBA). She will moderate the Conference and announce awards and recognitions at the end of the program.
